Kings Heath Village Square, Birmingham
Appointed as masterplanners and landscape architects the scheme was required to balance the need for public events and weekly markets whilst sensitively integrating the existing heritage including war memorials and gravestones.
The finished scheme was opened in 2011 and has gone on to win three major awards
- Royal Town Planning Institute award for Excellence in Planning and Design for the Public Realm 2013.
- National Regeneration and Renewal Award for Best Use of Arts and Culture in Regeneration 2012.
- Level 5 Outstanding Award from the Heart of England RHS "It's Your Neighbourhood" Campaign.

A sustainable urban drainage system utilises runoff from the adjacent buildings and hard surface areas to create a new central water feature with dynamic hard and soft landscaping adding variety and visual interest.
